Jackpot!

I found this blog while looking for a recipe for kuih bingka (tapioca cake). I love kuih bingka and it is almost impossible to find any here in Sydney, let alone a good one. There are so many recipes tehre I don't know where to start. I'd love to try the cake(kuih) recipes simply because it's so hard to find good kuih in Sydney.

I also like that she makes her asam laksa the same way I do.. or should I say she cheats exactly the same way I do! I love my Brahim's sauces! They taste home-made, or close enough anyway.

I have made a lot of progress on my Pomatomus socks. Only another 60% of a sock to go. I hope to be done by this weekend, but I may be overestimating how fast I can knit!

I also have a pair of green shortaloonies to knit and the buyer wants it embellished with little sheepies roaming around and maybe a couple of brown fences. How cute is that? I am loving it already. I am going to be using Jo Sharp DK wool in Forest and I am planning on using some cream coloured boucle wool for the sheep.

Okay.. back to knitting...

Thanks for posting that link - I'm going to try the Char Kway Teow recipe asap :)

Hmmm, that sounds really good! I've never heard of that before, but I love tapioca, and that sounds great!
